So my name is David, i work for Barclays Eagle Labs and I’m Barclay’s Eagle labs. Digital Security and Cyber Lead. What that means is I lead on supporting the UK cyber security ecosystem as a national support program. But also I am the lead for the Digital Security Hub in Manchester, which is Greater Manchester’s Cybersecurity Resource Center.
So today I was on a panel with MP Cued where we were discussing our projects that were looking to implement over the next five years than Greater Manchester. And I specifically discussed Greater Manchester’s Digital Security Hub which supports Greater Manchester’s digital security ecosystem.
The events’ has been really great. Everyone’s been really welcoming. It’s a really collaborative event, met some really great people and just a really nice, nice location, nice venue. I think weve got all the right resource in place. I think we’ve got all the right attitudes. Everyone in Manchester pullols together the combined authority has done a really great job of bringing together all the different local authorities and getting them multiple in the same direction under the same strategy.
