My name is Rosanna Lawton. I’m the Director of Innovation Programs in For Group. So I’ve actually just spoken on a panel which was about making Greater Manchester great. Very much aligned kind of the type of activity that are doing day to day at the In4 group. So we are an organization that kind of focuses on skills and technology around building kind of opportunity and prosperity across the region.
Our focus
Main focus is around gametech and that gasification and really building an ecosystem at the heart of Media City. It’s been really good. It’s been great to be able to share kind of what we’ve got planned but also talk to colleagues that are in the same space, understand their challenges and connect and look at those opportunities.
Greater Manchester
Greater Manchester is an incredibly collegiate region in my experience, really unique because there is that world to work together. So in terms of the kind of activity we do, it’s about regional priorities and impact, prosperity, and economic growth. So having the opportunity to work with partners to create that codecreation and social value is really important.
Collaboration
But I think we got that from all the panel members today, that kind of desire to work together and collaborate and talk and that will. So I think that’s what makes Greater Manchester great. It’s been good, the energy has been good. It’s been nice that there’s kind of little discussions in the panels. So there’s a lot of interactive sessions that people can engage with as well as kind of the kind of showcase bit. So it’s been really good. It’s just nice to see who’s doing what and just connect and catch up with people.
