I’m Marianna Vaszilyiv and I am one of the co-founders of the project called United for Ukraine which was created last year in response to the war in Ukraine. Russian invasion into Ukraine.
I’ am Ukrainian myself and this project is more than a job for me and I’m proud to be supported by a team of professional key workers and a bigger team of professionals and our stakeholders and partners. So today happened an event called Migrant Talent co-hosted by the Growth Business Hub. And I believe this is a great event because it helps us together businesses, representatives of different governmental structures as far as I know and representatives of different communities and societies which is very important.
And me and my guests which are migrants with different backgrounds, we’re bringing to the table their stories, we’re bringing some information to the table, shared their experiences and it was very well organised. Everything was timed very well and audience got a lot of information on personal level. I mean my customers were sharing their experience, how they managed to get to say okay, how they were looking for their jobs, what challenges they’ve been through and what professional qualities they can bring on board.

And it is very important to host events like that because projects like ours do help not only people to find jobs, it helps society, community, government to be a part of it to contribute into the economics to work to be included. That’s why it is very important to arrange meetings and events like that.
