I am Barney Hale, Head of Major Projects at Manchester City Council I manage construction and infrastructure project, generally over two million pounds, Today I’ve been speaking with Liz on the project forum about how to make Greater Manchester greater, but it’s been a wonderful opportunity to meet with suppliers, look at potential IT solutions and look at customer interaction tools.

I think Manchester is a great place to work and yes, it’s going to grow whether it grows in line with those targets or not, i don’t know, but its definitely growing. Its definitely one of the places to be. Ben has been wonderful. Some real good customer interaction and some feedback from those in the audience. Hugely important that we manage these projects efficiently.
Projects in Manchester
There’s a huge number of projects on in Manchester at the minute and we need to make sure that we all get the right benefits out without clashing priorities. It’s been real positive energy seeing everybody around the stalls. It’s amazing how even late in the day people are still interacting quite heavily.
