Today’s ready to get a bit more understand, be able to strategise business a lot better and be able to find better processes to apply within new business to recruit more people, intimate business. And yeah, that was pretty much it. 

 Carl Went was really, really insightful. Gave us just made us reflect on what I am and what I’m not doing well at the moment. And as a result of the presentation we’ve had today, I’m now left with an action plan that I can now look to put certain things into place to, to grow the business for the better moving forward, more understanding what your client actually wants and needs are as opposed to as opposed to it all being about you and what you’ve done and the experience that you’ve got and it should be focused more on the client, their needs and being able to put content out there that relates to to them more than the person because you have people buy people but at the same time you’ve got to solve that problem so you need to be able to communicate that in a way that’s going to hopefully bring the business in long term. 

What did you learn from Karl today?

I mean for me just you know I’ve got a massive to-do list now so huge to-do list and there’s a lot of processes that I’ve almost been scared to do. But today’s events give me a bit more confidence and a bit more be able to kick up the backside to do it sooner rather than later, because I know for a fact that if I don’t action it now, then it’s just going to become more stagnant and I won’t be able to grow and you know and be able to help more people. I want to know the knowledge, knowledge basic Kys have got and what hes shared in the past and what he’s obviously communicated to us today is absolutely fantastic and you he certainly gets you thinking about you. It’s not all about what he’s done, but it’s about what you’re doing now and what you can be doing moving forward. And I think the way that he gets out of you is absolutely first class. So I definitely recommend CARD to anyone that wants to get in touch and work with him. 

What did you think of the event today?

I think the events that that one is a great opportunity to meet new business owners as well and you know from these events you know you’re able you’re able to see what get your inspiration connect with people and you maybe for utilize each other’s services moving forward as well to grow together. My name is Clades Steel and today I’ have attended a sales and market and event led by Carl Morris, part of the FSB. It was my first introduction to an event like this and I thought it was very productive for tips and tricks. I’ve managed to come away with a list of three actionable things that I’m going to achieve by the end of the week and then a plan for the next month moving forward. 

Key insights

Prioritize your time, make sure you set aside the time to do your sales and marketing and then always expand on your network. It’s going to be the most powerful tool for you in terms of marketing. You can tell him just the way he holds himself, that he’s got a wealth of knowledge and experience behind him and everything, he said. He explained so fantastically and I would definitely be getting back in touch with him. Yeah. I think it will. I can envision a bit more now where we need to get ourselves in the next six months.
