What do you do John?
I run a Digital Ads business called Notorious Pay Per Click. Through our Paid Campaign services, we specialise in putting our clients in front of people online who have interest or intent in buying their product or service.
What kind of products do you provide?
We specialise in Paid Campaigns on Search Engines and Social Media channels. We can fully manage from strategy, set up and daily optimisation, to training or consultancy. We love working with internal marketing teams who utilise our knowledge to improve their understanding of Paid Advertising.
Please share details of your journey, when did you start?
I have worked in marketing for over 5 years in various guises. I started Notorious Pay Click in March to focus on the area of Marketing in which I am most skilled and interested.
What kind of people/ clients do you work with?
We work across both B2B and B2C space. Campaigns could be anything from £10 products direct to consumers, to companies providing consultancy services to other businesses with an average value of £15K +
Partnerships & Collaboration
We also work really well with other Digital Agencies, they may have hit capacity but still want to bring on new business or have never offered paid campaigns and would like to add our skillset to their service offering.
What inspires you to wake up in the morning?
Firstly I have a young family, an amazing Wife and 2 young boys. I want to provide a life full of great experiences now and work hard to put a little away for their future.
My mission
Within the Digital Marketing world, particularly with Pay Per Click I want to change the perception. Many businesses or business owners have had a poor experience with Paid Advertising, in many instances it starts with a promise of very high returns which don’t materialise. In my opinion, we should be working towards regulating the marketing industry to ensure the poor practice of a few doesn’t harm the many who are great..
What makes Manchester special?
I would say firstly it’s the people, Mancunians have a unique sense of humour and don’t take themselves too seriously. The City itself is ever changing, with new buildings, bars and restaurants popping up every week, but at its core it’s a working class city with the people at the heart of it.
The food & the Football
Then you have the Music and Football, to have produced some of the biggest bands and have two of the biggest teams in World football on our doorstep is incredible.Finally, there is always something to do or something new to experience, I love that about Manchester.
