So my name is Josh Harris and I’m the Business Development Executive at the GC business Growth th the GC Business Grow that we helped support businesses across Greater Manchester with fully funded support. The GC Business Growth up helped to partner supports event with MAN City Council because what we can do is we can help to bring the business community engaging with migrant town groups in Manchester into a room to find out how more they can do that and develop.
The workforce they’ve already got available to.
The turnout for this event has been great. We’ve got a really pack room full of different people from different organizations all across, not just greater Manisonal but the Northwest as well. We’ve heard from a panel of people from backgrounds who’ve told their stories about them moving across to the UK, how it was them finding employment and support they’ve received to do that. We’ve also now got a panel of business experts who work for businesses employing people from different backgrounds and kind of how to do that and how to support the communities to get the talent into the workforces. We’ve got lots of different events coming up through the Business Growth HUB, so we’ve got our BGH match networking events that take place at different localities every month. So upcoming we’ve got a number of those that are going to be taking place in Rusdale. Stopport. Bolton and Wigan that will take us up to Christmas and then in New Year we’re going to have a new cycle of those, the Business Growth. We often partake support whats different events on different topics.
